Dog Day Afternoon
Purina's "Better with Pets Summit" is a daylong event that showcases the brand's commitment to innovation. For the third annual Summit, we attempted a more ambitious setup. In addition to presentations by the leading lights in pet culture and science, we created dynamic exhibits featuring live animals and an interactive web experience to bring Purina's insights to a wider audience. The result was the best "Better with Pets" yet. We set a new record for social and site engagement, and received anecdotal feedback that the event reinvigorated the company's internal mission and, externally, helped define Purina's place as the voice of the pet care category. The highlight of my extensive work with Purina was bringing the Summit to life, from planning through execution at the Brooklyn Expo Center in October 2015.
My role included:
-Researching and writing content for exhibits.
-Promotional content, including video script, social posts, banner ads, interviews, and articles.
-Concept, research, and copy for landing pages and interactive exhibits.
-Research and copy for event materials: brochure, table cards, posters, and guest communications.
